The Puzzle Workshop is a family-owned business in Cumbria, run by a team of three.
Our journey began on Boxing Day 2008 with British Puzzle Inventor Christopher Pitt's classic Blue, and our collection has since grown to over 20 designs. We pride ourselves on creating unique mazes that challenge our dedicated puzzlers of all ages.
In March 2023, we launched VAULTMAZE, expanding our REVOMAZE line with 19 mazes, each with a unique maze and identification number. On Christmas Eve 2023, we introduced the 'REVOMAZE Lite,' a smaller, more cost-effective version for families.

REVOMAZE Review:
"The easiest puzzle in the series was too HARD. Even though I did Aqua after I've solved several, much harder Revomaze's, there still were some parts that got me thinking. The maze itself is brilliant. With some puzzles, my enthusiasm comes from the rush of the solution.

VAULTMAZE Review:
"As someone that likes Revomaze's and all the secrets they contain, my biggest concern was that during the act of assembling the rings, I'd learn the route or at least part of the route. For me at least that couldn't be further from the truth. I've looked at some many edges, corners and levels that it's all blended together. If someone were to ask me for any of the solution I genuinely wouldn't be able to give a correct sequence of moves for any part of the maze."

Chris is an engineer who enjoys problem-solving. His passion for engineering is to make functional objects and create a sense of purpose for like-minded individuals. Newbies are initially intrigued by the object's visualisation when they ask "What is it?" to be told it's a mechanical puzzle, prompts a second question "What do you have to do?" to ask the fixed question "What is the goal?" if you are thinking the same you are not alone.
The task next is to go beyond expectations once the puzzle is in hand. The objective of the puzzle is to twist and turn the core, transversing through the hidden maze concealed with the outer colourful sleeve to further increase the challenge and provide continual progress until you reach the end. With the Lite, you know you've completed the puzzle when the outer pin mechanism moves upwards and the core can be extracted. The ecstatic reaction after all the puzzler's time and effort has paid off makes the journey worthwhile.
We hosted a survey to our customers with the question "Would you recommend the REVOMAZE Puzzle to your family and friends?" the response was generally no, the reasons for this is due to the size, weight, and cost. Based on this feedback, the REVOMAZE Lite was born.
