Welcome to the home of 'The Puzzle Workshop'. We would like to share the history of the product and company with you.

Christopher Pitt began the REVOMAZE concept on Boxing Day in 2008. Known as 'The Puzzle Workshop' from February 2024, we are a humble family business that produces items called 'REVOMAZE', 'REVOMAZE Lite', 'VAULTMAZE', and 'HEXDUKO'.

We develop high-quality products internally in Askam-in-Furness, England. For a dedicated following worldwide since 2008. We are a small yet enthusiastic team that enjoys creating innovative puzzles for curious minds.

Furthermore, Chris develops products in-house as well as works with suppliers to provide both good quality and challenging puzzles for our client base to experience.

The beginnings

Ashton Pitt Ltd brings ideas to life via problem-solving, producing well-engineered mechanical metal puzzles.

From its introduction in 2008, when engineer Christopher Pitt was inspired to create the REVOMAZE from an event that happened while doing his engineering apprenticeship, he made the wrong cut in his plastic screwdriver handle (Proudly sits in our puzzle cabinet)

This error later sparked the inventing of hidden mazes in a sleeve, starting with the Blue. The rules were simple: make minimal components and allow quick assembly, while offering a real challenge to the puzzler that exceeds their expectation.

Since then, the range has expanded to over 20 designs, followed by a passionate and talented worldwide client base. The community continues to grow, and we have extended our family of products by introducing the VAULTMAZE, 19 mazes that are each sliced into 8 rings; the goal is to find, build, and solve the mazes to enter a competition and win an incredible prize of the SUPER GOLIATH PUZZLE (20-ring), which is nearly three times the size of a standard REVOMAZE.

In late December 2023, we released the REVOMAZE in a 'Lite' version as suggested by our customers after a survey, which is lower in weight and price, with smooth play and a pin on the outside that pushes up once solved so cannot be lost.

The new Lite version is aimed at younger and older puzzlers to introduce the REVOMAZE concept, give our current users a new challenge, and allow them to share their experiences with family and friends.
