Day at the Mach Exhibition 2024

Join us at the MACH Exhibition 👩‍🔧🧑‍💻

On Tuesday the 16th, we visited the MACH Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham to explore new machinery and technologies. The aim was to gather ideas for enhancing our manufacturing methods while also meeting with suppliers.

We were particularly drawn to the Citizen machines, which feature X and Y axes capable of accommodating longer sleeves, making them an exciting option for future development.

While keeping the maze protected, Chris and I are working on ideas for YouTube videos because we've gotten requests for films of the machines and HQ design processes. We'll keep working on the top priorities next week, and I'll provide another update on the pilot's status following our meeting on Monday.

Where Are We with Black Lite Production?

It’s been a few weeks since our last update on the Black Lite (Limited Edition), so we wanted to share where things currently stand.

The remaining work includes producing the pins, can, plug, and maze tool. Each maze also requires O-rings to be fitted, labels applied to the sleeves, and certificates to be cut, signed, and finished with holograms.

The major production stages are now complete. We’re currently in the final phases, focusing on these finishing touches to ensure every maze meets our expectations and delivers the best possible experience, particularly as the wait time has been longer than anticipated.

We’re also exploring ways to improve our production timeline by working with a supplier on some of the smaller components. Further details will be shared in an upcoming update.

Once the Black Lite pilot units are finalised and shipping can begin, you’ll receive an email confirmation along with your tracking information.
