I honestly love how small and compact it is especially because his previous puzzles were a little bit bulky or so they were harder for him to carry around so I think he's going to thoroughly enjoy the puzzle being small enough to fit into his pocket and he can take it with him.

Very nice premium feel, not too heavy but not light or “cheap”
- smaller than I imagined, but that makes it nice and portable
- external pin doesn’t bother me (I was unsure about that one) and it does mean it won’t easily roll off a surface if left unattended.

It has arrived. It is a thing of beauty. I couldn’t resist a bit of an explore around the maze as soon as I saw it. It’s so delicate and seems a significantly refined feel over the (nylon?) obsession.

The pin mechanism, which I expected to be an annoyance, is mostly unnoticeable in use and thoughtfully prevents the maze from rolling away when set down.
After a brief break-in period, the movement became smooth and satisfying, with clear tactile and audible feedback when falling into traps.

I wanted to let you know I've been really enjoying the Black Lite. I love the design - it's perfectly Revomaze, and little extras like the knurling and end cap are neat. It feels good in the hands, and manipulating the maze was smooth and satisfying. I had a great time solving the maze itself - it had some fun moments, and a few tricky ones as well. Based on this, I'm very excited for the rest of the series as they come :D

A few of us have finished the black lite now. I was a bit slower than some, but got there in the end. Maybe 10 to 12 hours? I mostly just pick a puzzle up for a while at night so it’s a bit hard to judge the solve time.
I would say it’s on the Emerald level of difficulty with a bit of Peach thrown in. It was a lot
of fun and it’s nice to get that solved Revo feeling back again.
The knurling on the end of the shaft is a nice touch to help solving, although the smaller size will make it very “interesting” if the difficulty gets a lot higher with other puzzles. I also had to go back to mapping by hand as my old gripper would not fit.

I received my Black Lite on Saturday. What a beautiful piece of hardware. I've been trying it a bit and it's so much fun so far even though I have not managed to solve it yet. Will have to figure out how to use the mapping template you uploaded if I can't get past that one trap close to the end :D. Thanks for creating this and keep it up! You've won another fan.
