Uveitis
The condition is classified based on the part of the eye affected:
Anterior uveitis – Inflammation of the iris and/or ciliary body; the most common type.
Intermediate uveitis – Inflammation mainly in the vitreous (the gel inside the eye).
Posterior uveitis – Inflammation of the choroid and/or retina.
Panuveitis – Inflammation involving all parts of the uvea.
